Removing the resonater on an 05x sedan?

Just installed the HKS exhaust and it sounds great but when i was under the car I saw the resonater and wondered if the exhaust would sound any better with just welding a straight pipe were the resonater is? Anyone do this? have any feed back on if its worth it or not? pro's con's? Thanks

it will be extremely loud, and you'll most likely get tons of Drone... maybe look for a smaller resonator, i think the coupe has one thats not as large and restrictive.

The coupe resonator is slightly smaller and will give a slight increase in sound. Just look for a coupe midpipe and it is a bolt in mod. With more sound comes more drone with this midpipe.
