Weird Sound when in Manumatic

well I was idling in a drive through and I heard this loud sound I thought it was the car next to me so I shrugged it off until they pulled away and it was still there, I shifted my car into Drive from Manumatic and the sound went away!

I put it back into Manumatic and the sound comes back hmm

Here is a short video, I amplified it a bit so you can hear it better. It almost sounds like a belt?

Mine used to squeak when I moved from MM to D and after a belt change the sound went away.

Yea, I need to Jack the front up and put my parking brake on, have someone hold the brake and then just shift from D to MM and try to figure out were its coming from.

If its the belts that would be a bit odd eh? RPM doesn't fluctuate at all. It also kinda sounds like metal spinning scraping on something?

I don't think It can be the belts. Nothing changes to the engine when you are stopped and switch between d and mm. The torque converter ismstill loaded up the same.

Hate to say it....but I'm suspecting it's internal to the trans.

^ Thats what I am worrying about, but I got my car from the dealer certified so I have CPO warranty untill next year I believe, need to find the booklet.

I changed out the fluid at 39k at the dealer I got the car from. They flushed it with 13 quarts of Matic-S.

CPO booklet says it covers
Case and all internal parts, Torque converter and converter housing, Automatic transmission control module, transfer case and all internal parts, seals and gaskets, clutch and cover housing and electronic transmission controls.
So I should be covered if anything is wrong.

I just went and tried to get it to do it again. The noise only happens when the car is idling in MM, if I give it some gas the noise goes away. as long as I am over the notch before 1k it goes away.

very weird hmmm
