I have a 2004 Sedan, and I noticed when I brake hard my hand brake light turns on for a second then goes off, what could it mean... From my findings it could be low fluid or old/worn pads...

Anyone experience this problem?

 

probably low brake fluid due to worn brake pads. Inspect your brakes and top off the fluid.

 

Yes, that light is either for the parking brake.....or the low brake fluid sensor.


Don't top the fluid off. Check your pad thickness first. You prob need brakes first. If you add fluid, and then do brakes, pushing the piston is can shoot fluid all over your paint from the mc
