ive got the same exact tire and rim in my spare compartment that i have on the car. came like this when i got it, not sure if this is what yall mean by full size spare but it fits perfectly no loss of space and if i get one more scratch on my driver front rim, i'm switching it out lol

What is a premium package? I do not even have automatic door locks or power tilt/telescope steering wheel or memory seats. But I have full-size matching spare 17' whheel. It does not sit flush in the trunk. As a result there is a hump under the trunk carpet.

Had one. Got rid of it for a donut. Save a few precious pounds.

I just purchased a used 2006 6MT sedan, and I found a full size 17" 7-spoke wheel in the trunk. It doesn't look like it belonged there however, as it sticks up above the plane of the trunk floor and my trunk space looks like some rolling foothills.

Can you all tell me what the spare/trunk is supposed to look like with a compact in there? I think I want to get rid of the full and put a compact in so my trunk is flat again. I also don't feel the need to carry around that extra weight all the time. Is there also some kind of rigid board, or a foam insert to keep the floor flat? Right now the spare tire well is just a cavity with a wheel and the tools rattling around. Seems like I'm missing something..

Check this drawing:
http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/2006...ts-s/11957.htm

Parts 20, 21 & 22 are Styrofoam spacers which raise the floor level of your trunk to match the full-size spare. Part #17 is the pressed-wood piece which sits between those 3 pieces to cover the hole where the tire is and make the floor flat.

We had full spares in our '05 and '06 Gs. I don't know if you still need those spacers if you have a donut.

Mines has the full size tire.

MINT condition rim and new tire. Being that its 10 years old now, i wonder if its worth replacing... I've used the spare tire once, maybe put 9 miles on it.

I don't think 20, 21 and 22 are used with the space saver. But then again i think I recall a pic where the tools are on the board over the space saver.

Either way, i want to say it's much different than the full size spare.

Eh, if you plan on just using it temporary i wouldn't worry about it. If you think you might get a flat and need to drive 200 miles on it, then i might for security. Although with the tire being out of UV light, as long as i didn't see dry cracks on it i would trust it.

Does your full size spare have a TPMS sensor in it??

Mine does, and a long time ago i dented a rim and swapped my full size spare out and put the dented one in as my spare. The tire is worn, so i prob should replace it in case i get a flat in the winter. But my full size spare DID have a TPMS sensor, but when i swapped it, i had to reregister the sensors (did it myself using the method talked about on the forums by varying tire pressures)
