Hey I will be purchasing a 2003 g35 seden in the spring but befor i do i would like to know the common problems that this car will have and the cost to fix them.

 

The Search Button is usually pretty good. The Flame suite in the car usually fails.

Radio fails, brakes blow, interior rattles etc. Do yourself a favor and try to get an 05. They worked most of the issues out except for those d@!n rattles... Grrrrrr

 

compression rods suck, but overall a great and reliable car

 

Radio does fail, the brakes just need a non-OEM set of pads (ceramic anyone? It's a $100 fix), and my interior makes no sounds at 131k. The 05's are bloated, but they do have a better interior... oil consumption on the 6MT rev-ups sucks though.

Common Problems for 2003 G35 Sedan
-People who put on huge wheels, and a CAI, and expect it to somehow perform better than stock.

In all seriousness, compression rods, swaybar endlinks, stock pads wear out quickly/lots of brake dust, and radio issue seem to be common problems.

 

Third brake light seems to fail early and wheel bearings are a common issue
