Aftermarket head unit sreering wheel controls

Can I get a new head unit and still use my steerting wheel controls
I'm looking for a good head unit that will allow me to continue to use my steering wheel controls.
I need a new unit because the right side speakers only play right with the radio on. I know other owners have had the same problems and I'm fed up with my POS stock head unit.
Also, I would like it to have some or all of the following options.
Nav
DVD
Mp3/IPod connect is a must
Does anyone know of any good models I could use?
Thanks for your time, Tony
Current Mods: Silver 04 G35X, Blask 18's, JL C2 door speakers, JL 12W7 sub, roof spoiler, Nismo front bumper.

then just look around the audio-video section to see what people are getting

I have a 2004 G35 Sedan and went with Pioneer's AVIC-X910BT with the PAC SWI-PS (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...AC+SWI-PS.html) control interface. It's a little bit of a pain for the installation (the resisters don't quite sit in place very well with the rest of the wires) but it's been working still at almost a whole year.
