Drive belt sizes

Tried searching for my answer but no luck. I was going to order my belts online for my 2005 g35x and realized that some places had two different sizes for one of the belts. The smaller belt is 945mm, but the larger belt is either 1175mm or 1180mm. Does anyone know which is the correct one for my X. Thanks.

take your belt off, and if you can still read the numbers almost any autoparts store can cross reference a number

then look at the paper packaging that has the belt info, some companies put the length of the belt on the "wrapper"

but honestly, either one will work 5mm is not much and you will have enough adjustment to make either one work

This thread should help with your question regarding two different size belts.

But the compressor belt for your X should be the larger one since the smaller one is only used for sedans built pre-10/2002.

why do you need the sizes..just get them from your closest infiniti or nissan dealer..imo belts is something that you should stay oem with..some people have had problems with aftermarket belts..i just changed my belts 5k miles ago..i had 70k miles on my stock belts..after doing them you will prob want to tighten them up a little more after a thousand miles because they may stretch a bit
