N00b here lookin for some G35 advice
Hi all
I've been checkin these posts for a little while now. I'm lookin to buy a new car very soon and the G35 is one of the front runners. I'm thinkin more about the sedan, but might be up for the coupe as well (like the versatility of the sedan, esp if the power is the same between coupe and sedan for 05).
Allright, here's what I'm wondering:
1) Aero kit for sedan from Infiniti, is it a dealer add on or factory? I saw some posts about the Nismo kit which looks hot on some pics I've seen. Is the factory/dealer aero kit (which costs like $3k - ridiculous imo) the same as the Nismo?
2) Brembo's come standard on the 6MT coupe. I would want them on a sedan. Any way to do this from the dealer? Does the 6MT sedan come with the Brembo's like the coupe does? My preference is for the auto sedan actually.
3) What's the best suspension kit for the sedan? I'm a veteran import car show competitor, but I've been out of the game for awhile now. I'm lookin to do a decent but not rad drop (mebbe 1-2 finger clearance when it's done). I'd also be interested in doing 19's.
Thanks for your help all!

Re: N00b here lookin for some G35 advice
Thanks for the reply. Re: the Brembos...simply b/c Brembo's are cool! Not a question of need, simply a question of lust...I'd like to do drilled rotors too
. I'm a modification freak basically...a carryover from my car show days I guess.
Are 20's too much in your opinion? I think I saw a coupe with dubs and it looked borderline over the top...I guess it would depend on the design of the rim. Anyone have suggestions on the coolest looking 19's? I definitely like the dished look.
Thanks

IMO I think the 20's are too much, but you will find people that love the dubs so it's really up to you. I originally wanted 18's but the wheel I fell in love with (RH Pro J8) came only in 19 inches so that's what I bought. I may have some pics of G's with 20's somewhere. I will see if I can't find them. In the meantime browse the sedans in the "Rides" section of this site and you should find different wheel set-ups. The wheel forum is a good place to browse as well.
