^Passenger side has been done for about 6 months now. There are pix in my progression thread.
Not sure the method, I doubt the welded anything though.
I trust my body guy enough.
So far everything has been perfect, I've waxed it and even really really close you can't tell where they were.

--edit 3/9/2011--
Had to edit this post so there's not any misinformation floating around.
I was talking with my body guy yesterday, and he informed me that he actually did weld in some metal behind each hole.

Your brave lol, if its not welded it will sink. IP don't really show it much even if it did.

^We'll see.
Like I said, you absolutely can not find where the holes were, even with your face right up to it, or casting reflections off the paint. And it's been 6 months.

But like you said, IP hides a lot, so even if it ever does dimple a little, nobody will be able to see it anyway.

2011: Nothing major planned as I did the majority this year.

-KP Technologies "Beep module" for more class.
-Engine bay cleanup: Wire tucking, accessories, painting, polishing, shaving stuff.
-Whatever happened to those convex side mirrors?
-Sways for the X??
-Test out some various spacer sizes for moar flush
-Hood struts
-Possibly fix rust on a few doors (fawking chicago weather)
-ipod integration kit
-HFCs if i have a good year at work.
