So over the last couple weeks, my rear shelf/back window (3rd brake light) area is making a noise like its loose.. its highly annoying! how can I check if it needs to be tightened? I go over a speed bump and it makes the noise.. ahhh!!!

It is more held in by friction than attached to anything. I would get back there and see if anything is loose. You have to remove the rear seat to remove the shelf. Also, be careful as the 3rd brake light is attached to the shelf and you can rip the wires out. Speaking from personal experience.

Well I custom fabbed a sub box in my trunk this summer and a couple times this winter so far the reardeck has driven me freakin crazy from loud vibrations! I was thinking it was panels in the trunk vibrating, took them out and decided to deaden them, everything was quiet with them out so I thought I nailed it, but then the sound came back.. Finally I pulled into a parking lot and cranked the bass, turned out that when snow melted off the back window into the trunk channel, the snow turned into ice, and that ice would get loose from the bass and then just vibrate against the window - thus driving me crazy. .... Moral of the story is to check the gutter around the trunk lid and make sure there is no loose ice chunks.
