compression rod bushings are going bad

do a search, then replace them You can just replace the bushings, but you might consider getting the upgraded ones, from SPL or Whiteline? I can't remember the manufacturer...search and you'll see this is a very common issue.

Is there any harm in not replacing them right away? I too can hear a squeak, especially when going over humps at low speeds, but its not THAT irritating that I want to fix it right away. (it sucks working on cars when its freezing outside...)

Not necessarily true. I had my compression rods replaced last year and I still have some squeaking in my suspension on cold days. I'm guessing it's control arm bushings or something similar.

I get the same noise from my front. It's almost embarassing when going over speed bumps. lol I'm not too worried about it right now as sometime in the future I would like to lower my car so it'll be dealt with then.

It could also be the sway bar bushings or the inner lower control arm bushings. Hard to really say without taking a look.

It really is embarrassing sometimes. My car sounds like an old truck.

Over time I plan on replacing all of them with Whiteline polyurethane bushings so hopefully that will fix the problem.

my side skirts make the sound

I thought it was suspension also

try pressing in on the side skirts and see if the noise is repeated
