Steering Wheel Fading...

I've searched for some for sale and only found one, and I saw that it could be replaced under warrenty but idk if i am still under warranty. Lol. Have any of you had this problem? And what are other steering wheels some of you switched to?

if its under warranty it would be under the 3year 36k if im correct.. not the powertrain which u may still be under.

Would be 3year/36k

What part of the wheel is fading? The hand grip? You might be able to restore it with some cleaners depending on how gone it is.

Or you can swap to a yellow-stitched sport steering wheel

It's the top of the wheel. And it's faded to a smooth surface. I dont think that it is restorable.

What brand is that yellow stitch wheel? How much does it cost? Do u have a pic by chance?

I think its referring to the coupe steering wheel off of the 05-07 i believe

Yes, coupe oem wheel. Search for pics online. Dunno how much they cost.

3 years?!? 36k?!? WTH!!! That's not a good warranty! I thought they are 4 or 5 yrs?

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Basic bumper to bumper warranty was 4 years or 60,000 miles. Not sure what the 36/36 refers to.

You are right. Was 4 years 60k miles or something like that.

3/36 was my previous car....brain fart
