electric drivers seat is off track

electric drivers seat is off track

when i sit in the car and the seat moves it is off track. it does not go forward or backward it turns to the side. Can anyone assist me without me going to the dealer for them to look at it.

i've had this same issue and had it fixed 3 times through the dealer and it's about to go out AGAIN. it's covered under warranty.

I have the same problem and had the dealership check it out. One of the motor mounts needs to be replaced. $990 total cost. Fvck that.

thanks for the info, cant afford the motor mounts to be replaced right now. Will have to drive in this condition for awhile.

These should help, sounds like a stripped gear might be your problem.

I had the same thing and I went to odometergears as of those threads discusses. It was brilliant. $65 and solved my issue perfectly. I am sure it will happen again. You can just take off a few bolts to see if that is the issue you have.
