Thanks for your input. I believe it is in the fan below the cabin air filter, but I'm not sure I am capable of disassembling it and putting it back together. It's either that or something close to the firewall under the hood. Are there any components that move behind the center of the dashboard when the air is on?

 

I have an 03 sedan and it makes this type of noise when i cut the car off, it make this noise about 75% of the time with the ac off and sometimes while driving for a little whil. I have 163,000 on the car, the ac compressor a little loud when i cut it on.

 

you can take out the head unit and see if there is anything around there you can reach. i had to replace my cd player cause of the famous cd fo error
its not a lot of work try it there should be a diy for removing the HU

 

Mine was doing this last fall and I went and cut the belt off one day and it stopped. Now I gotta figure out how to get the A/C Clutch off to replace it.
Anyone know if they come off easy or they are stubborn like others I have attempted

 

Mine was done by ac unit installation expert last month and after that i never felt any noise in my ac unit.
