Question FSB Install on a '04x...

What do the bolts for the struts/mounting braces need to be torqued to when installing?

there is a torque spec for it but just apply common sense. This isn't a make or break type of thing.

this is hardly a suspension piece. This is like hanging a sign on a door.

If it was that IMPORTANT it would of came STOCK on the car like a 350z. This is about the same as torque setting on lug nuts, should be somewhere like 78-90ft. lbs on the lugnuts. if you put it at 125 its not a big deal. but at 200 you MIGHT warp the rotors. I understand your worry but adding a peice of suspension can cause negative or postive feedback.

Either use the tq spec given to you for the 3 top nuts, which should be exactly the same for a 350z/G coupe/ RWD/ AWD, its 3 nuts that hold the strut to the body of the car. As long as its tight it doesn't matter.

Don't over tighten the bolts, they tend to strip easy when removing them from being over tightened. I had to cut 2 off in the past and it wasn't fun lol
