shocks and maybe springs?

I'm sick of the creeks from what I believe is my shocks or springs I wanna replace them my cars at 80k miles anyway but I want a real smooth ride I'm in no way intrested in lowerung the car. But if its really a small amount I wouldn't mind can anyone reccomend a good replacement or should I replace them with OEMs?
Ps let me know if anyones selling them for 03 sedan sport

creeks are probably and most likely from compression rods and messed up bushings to upper link bushings and stuff like that before struts/shocks
shocks and sturts would more of a bouncy ride if you hit bumps and you can usually tell by looking at the struts to see if they're leaking

Thanks so how difficult are they to DIY my fathers a pretty experienced mechanic he just doesn't own a shop anymore would compression rods be something we can do in his drive way? I know bushings can be simple because he also said these are most likely my problems as well. And how do I tell if the shocks are leaking liquid spots?

theres like a plastic cover over the strut between the spring and strut you can lift it up a bit when you have the wheel of and see if there is any wet spots on the strut and also when you push down on the front see if it feels tight i guess compared to the other side

the compression rods you can do yourself at home i think theres just a bushing you can get instead of the whole actual upper control arm (if its a problem usually is) but youll need a shop to press it in i think theres a DIY on here
