oem alarm/alarm light

My car recently got broken into, luckily they did not take anything (nothing for them to take) nor did they try to pull out my aftermarket in unit GPS..

I did notice that when I lock the doors/alarm the alarm light is always illuminated red..

I swear prior to the window being broken the light would flash when the "alarm" was on.. And if this is true I do not understand why it was effected? From what I recall the alarm does not even have window sensors....

Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Sometimes mine flashes and sometimes it stays lit. I haven't really figured out why...

Solid when you first lock the doors. After a Period of time, it changes to blinking. Different states of activation

My alarm only flashes when unlocked. Is there any way to fix this? When I replaced the battery it did this when it's locked it just stays red, which is pretty gay if you ask me. Smh
