the first one is ok.. the thing is... you will be making more noise than speed.. reminds me of those ricers going up a hill at 40mph and sounds like they are going 100mph..

the second one sounds like sht.. if you want a lawn mower just buy one... not only that.. im sure you wont have it more than a month before you get a fix it ticket and have to take it out... just be realistic.

im only 17 my dad doesnt want me doing anything yet with the engine, he said exhaust and other stuf is fine. but I like it. even if my car doesnt go super duper fast. it sounds mean. not like those hondas which i agree when they go up a hill or on a stop light sounds like there going fast. but they can fit any muffler to a 1.5 inch pipe. this is going with more flow and greater sound. which can lead to a little better horse power. so for me its kind of like a win win.

Thanks fobizzle. What HFCs are you running?

I plan on going with HFC, HR Y-pipe, long Magnaflow Straight through resonator, and get something that looks like the factory mufler if I don't decide to keep it.

Sasha's Z is rediculous, I posted a thread on his setup not long ago, you should find it in my stats. I believe he is doing about 330 whp with N/A (CAI, LTH, 3.5" Exhaust), Nismo Cams and a tune on a dyno-pack, dyno-jet is probably about 300whp (idk for sure).

Sasha has 347 rwhp NA. He doesn't have the NISMO cams - he's running much larger

Dynopack vs Dynojet can be debated left and right. It all depends on how it is configured. Not all dynopacks read higher.

You are spending way too much. Get headers and a Y-pipe and get the rest custom mandrel bend from a shop for way less.

Dude BTW, you know the Megan racing catback for sedan is 3" and the muffler looks good and its <$400.

Wow, hes up to that much? Last i saw was when he ran the nismo cams, cai, lth, custom plenum and 3.5" exhaust. I think that is one amazing vq, but im sure its costing a ton of money to get it to 347whp on n/a. How did he jump an extra 15 whp? Did he build up the engine?

Yes i Know that, but its tone is deeper and plus i like that gian muffler tip, yes you may not but i like the evo style with the big muffler tip. I know i can get much cheaper, but how loud is the megan exhaust, ive only seen 2 or 3 vids and they are 2-3 seconds long, poor quality. I think its funny alot of people have that exhuast but no one puts it on youtube so we can have an example what its like. ive seen and heard what this exhaust is like and im in love with it. but that is just me

I think HFC, hr Y-pipe, 3" straight pipe, and 05/06 muffler would sound best. I'm goin this direction, if it's too loud I can put a long straight through resonator instead of the straight mid-pipe.

ive found a guy where he was selling that exhaust for $432 in atl. it was on craigslist, i met up with him and inspected the exhaust, he said he had only use it for about a month or so on his z (which looks fantastic) i must say i found no flaws, no gashes, scrapes, dents on it. I purchased it the same day and now have 2 things off the list....

If you search "Megan Exhaust sedan" you'll get 5-10 results, go to the thread by Andrei (I think thats how its spelled) he has a couple of videos of the Megan, one is over half an hour - with the camera mounted to his rear bumper. Because of that video I decided the Megan was way too loud for me, but I love the sound of it.

Those headers?
Maybe I missed something
I must have because that sounds cheap for headers.
