Thumbs up Best Exhaust Project!!!!!!

Ok I had the idea of just having the coup midpipe with resonator removed but after searching i found what i wanted and it is a little expensive i may say.

350z Hr Y pipe found on craigslist for = $35

Megan Racing Nissan 350z / Infiniti G35 (03-06) 1 Piece Long tube Header w/ Test Pipe = $325

Agency Power Ti Catback Exhaust Nissan 350Z 03-08 = $850

I will need a 5 inch extention 3 inch wide for the Catback.

In my opinion this will sound like sex.....

here are the links if your interested

long tube headers:
http://www.street-power.com/megan-ra...e-header-.html

Agency power Exhaust:
http://www.amazon.com/Agency-Power-Catback-Exhaust-Nissan/dp/B000E0G7FI http://www.amazon.com/Agency-Power-Catback-Exhaust-Nissan/dp/B000E0G7FI

This is what it should sound like:

I already bought the 350z Y pipe so there is no link....

This is what i have chosen to do and im sticking with it. As i have said before. I am 17 and I dont have much money but this is my goal and i am set on it.

And This is something i came across while searching, ,most of you have probably seen this but i though it would post it again for good measure:

^ will set you back around $2200 and they said they can make it fit a g sedan.

Can you post your thoughts on the difference of your set up with stock cats vs. the HFCs? I'm mainly concerned with the sound difference. I've thought of going this route for a little more power, but don't want the car to be substantially louder. For reference I dumped the HKS muffler in favor of my stock 05 because it was a little too loud. I'm running the same combo as you are except for the HFC.

The first video you have of the 04x sounds ok but damn it looks like the muffler is way to big it sits to low and sticks out to far IMO it does not look good at all.

u should get a muffler with dual tips and have the shop cut off that big round one and weld it to the pipe..it will look cleaner and more oem which is always a plus

you could have a custom setup that sounds/performs just as good if not better for less

350GT-R told me that the long tube headers would be too loud for public streets and that he has gotten pulled over more than enough, he said to stick with the stock cats for now, and do everything else. Props to him. so that is what i am goin to do.

Link to his setup (*Note* This is how it should turn out): https://g35driver.com/forums/media-s...s-updates.html

I have the exact same setup as him. Its not much louder with the hfc's, but there is a difference. The only thing I would complain about is the rasp. I get quite a bit of rasp when I take off. Hopefully it will go way soon, if not I think im gonna sell them.

I was going to go this route lol, I recommend a different y-pipe though like the M2 where the inlets are 2.5" and the outlets are 3". Which I have. That way you get a much smoother flow of air. 850 for the agency? I got mine 630 shipped.

I also have that extension you are talking about as well if you want it. It will give it an angled look however.

I was planning to do the SGM long tubes and the agency, but put that money into getting a new car.
