It looks so good like that.... I tried adding lower springs but took them off after 2 weeks because I hated the way it rode and I hated the fact that the straight up bottomed out any time I had more than 2 people in it.

I am always filling my car with crap and hauling 4 people so I just couldn't do any lower than what I was on...

I spend most of my down time day dreaming about what I'm going to get next because of the love hate/love relationship with my car. The down syndrome gear box...the constant clicking coming from the rear axle somewhere, no text on the radio...the stupid 17's put on by the dealer cheating me out of the ultrarare 18's it left Japan with...

Yet all it takes is the windows down and a good run through the gears or a fast corner and the back end slipping out a bit and I remember why I loved it in the first place...and why I am so happy don't have to drive an automatic 13 year old civic I traded up from two years ago.

^Hey, someone from FL!
You need to get in this thread!! ---> https://g35driver.com/forums/florida...-new-post.html

There's a big G35 meet happening in Gainesville sometime in April. You should check it out.
There will be several Sedans there (for a change)

They listed my car for sale this morning. $15,900. I doubt they will get anywhere near that...

Quote: Still planning on keeping your G then, Dave? Good to hear. You are a very valuable member to these boards with a plethora or information.

I will be around here and still post in the first gen area. I got that car in me hardcore so I can still add info.
Thanks. I'm sticking around for now. We just don't have the money for me to be getting a new car as much as I want to get one. Single income family, stay at home mom, two kids, nice house, savings/retirement, etc. all fight to a cut of my pay. I'm not complaining though. I still like my car for the most part. Getting something like an S2000 or 2006+ Miata (plus supercharger) would be fun for weekends and auto-x. I've had faster cars in the past but came to the realization that most anything faster than mid 13s as a DD is rather pointless because you just can't use it on the street. Also, when you have a faster car, there's immense pressure to make it faster and faster because so many are doing the same thing and have deeper pockets.
