Yeah you try to tell yourself its just a machine thats until you start giving a ****.

Then its the memories that separate your car from any other G or car for that matter.

Dunno man after seeing that picture in the OP I kinda felt depressed.
I don't know about you; but I aint never leaving my G.

I'll drive that b*tch into the ground but I aint ever leaving her side.
Maybe that'll change but for now thats how I feel.

But thats just me.

Btw how much is infiniti asking for the new 2008? If you dont mind sharing.

I thought that way about my car originally, but little things kept throwing it off... I think if my car were a premium package sport model with better history (mine was a rental car...) I would have kept it for the long run.

To both of you. They are asking $26,900 for the 08. Going to try and get that down a little lower.

There's a big G35 meet happening in Gainesville sometime in April. You should check it out.
There will be several Sedans there (for a change)
I'm not going anywhere near a meet with my car in it's present condition. Let's just say Freshmen year living in the dorms right next to Greek Row..well it wasn't nice to the car. I have seen more than a few of the florida g club members around in both Orlando and Jacksonville though.

I'll make a deal with you, someone buy me some period correct 18's for my 6mt and then we'll talk Seriously I've checked the marketplace at least once a week since I got the car two years ago and I found a pair that was chromed ONCE!

Summer before freshmen year somone collapsed the driver corner of my rear bumper...It's been pulled out some, but it is still misshapen and there is a patch of paint missing. There's a gouge on the opposite side from someone else. The portion below the license plate is toast from getting rear ended by some bitch in a mercedes on her cell phone whose insurance company dipped out of repairs (on I-4 near the Infiniti dealer).

The rest of the car has random touch ups from the previous owner. My right front wheel is gouged pretty bad from me attempting a u-turn in St. Pete. I basically got my wheel stuck on one of those metallic curb drains at like 1mph. By the time I got it off the wheel was trashed.

Front bumper? Spider cracks from someone backing into it, which also broke one of the clips for the lower grills. There's also a nice trailer hitch implant and random gouges on the corner and center that I have no idea as to their origin.

I went from having a perfect car to a trash one in 6 months. Only one of the incidents was my fault, and the wheels were gonna get changed eventually anyways. Instead I'm saving my pennies to buy two new bumpers and get them painted.

Yeah the ride was downright awful but I do miss how it looked.

Or, and here's an idea that I think works out better for at least me if not everyone...what if, he just bought rays, and then let me "borrow" his wheels for idk...a couple years or so? What could possibly go wrong?
