A Cup-holder Solution for 6MT Sedans
They stock ones work pretty well for small drinks and the one under the armrest works poorly for large drinks.
This solution is for holder under the armrest. I found that coffee mugs and large drinks routinely get caught on the tab the folds down and then the holder lift up with the drink.
What I've done is use masking tape to secure the cup holder under the armrest into the cubby. Then I put in a Drink Docker. It has a smooth fabric cover on the outside that never gets caught.
It lifts out with my coffee cups and most other drinks, then I simply slide the docker/cup back in once I've had a drink. The docker also keeps any condensation off me and my car and feels good in my hand (she said that).
Here's a link to the website. The owner is super cool. I found the medium size works best for the most drinks. www.drinkdocker.com
