Negative Battery Terminal
Negative Battery Terminal
I'm installing an Injen cold air intake either later today or tomorrow and in the directions it says to disconnect the negative battery terminal. Is this necessary? I don't see why it would be but if it is I'll disconnect it but otherwise I'll leave alone if it isn't necessary. Thanks guys!

It's not a bad idea. Anytime you work on something with electronics involved it's best to disconnect the battery. You'll have to mess around with the MAF when replacing an intake and it can be pretty sensitive to banging and things.
Yeah, saving 10 seconds with a 10mm wrench isn't worth the potential trouble.
After doing the Injen CAI, I think if it weren't such a pain to get the filter back from behind the bumper, I'd swap back to z-tube and stock filter.
