is a sprint booster worth the $300? does it work?

There are mixed reviews about the product. All it does is essentially "clean up" the electronic signal from the pedal and makes the throttle more responsive. There is no increase on horsepower, just your pedal is more responsive (ie. no lag). 300 is about right for the price but I don't know if it worth it.
