Have you listed your 07 locally for sale? Who knows it might go quick and then you'd have the cash in hand to dicker on the 06.

And +2, you're not crazy.

I have an 06 Coupe and it ended up costing more than the older Coupes I was looking at. I don't regret it at all. You only live once... get what you want! I am sure there is someone on this awesome forum that would be happy to trade. If you are going to lose money to someone it shouldn't be to a dealer! I wouldn't trade my 06 for a newer or older coupe.

Bluedream, If I sell my '07 privately I have no wheels to get me by until I can find an '06 to purchase.

Catsnmusic, I would trade you but my mileage is way outta your criteria ~ 180,000 / I have a silver X fully loaded w/nav black interior and a replaced trans & awd system. I know your issues with the 07 worked @ a dealership and a lot of people complained about that steering wheel ! But @ least you have HR motor w/ dual throttle bodies and exhausts. In poughkeepsie, N.Y. area btw.

I was basing my comment from your first post that said you had found an 06 you liked.

Sorry for the confusion.

I'll say this cuz I think its the right thing to do:

To the OP: I know you've mentioned that you love your '06 more than '07
Im sure the '07 is a good car but the '06 was better.

But you've put money into the '07 already and once you do switch back to the '06 you'll be losing money.
And when its time to sell the car ('06) you'll get even lesser cash for it i.e. you'll lose money twice

I'd stay stick with the '07, better interior , better resale value and better car condition (48k miles is pretty new imo).
When you sell the '07 you'll get more money for it.
Why look back at the 2006 only; maybe they'll be a better more beautiful car in the future that you might want to buy, thne you can sell the '07 and get that.

Hope this helps.
btw this is coming from someone with an '06 sedan.

How bout this.....you've had your '07 for how long now? Couple months? Go test drive an 06...then get into your car and see how you feel then. See if driving back to back if you really want an '06.

Get used to the 2nd gen. I think once you get used to it, you will like it more.

Hmmm. I have test driven the '06 and then gotten back into mine. For some reasons I like the '07 better but it's the darn steering wheel issue mostly. I HATE it. Can I swap out an '06 wheel onto the '07? I don't want to lose my bluetooth and nav though.

Get used to the wheel? I don't think theres any way to switch it and regain control ove those functions.

if you are still interested, i have a 2006 g35x liquid platinum with black interior. Fully loaded premium with navi. Navi is with the current 2010-2011 dvd map.

only things i've added are:
- 6k headlights with 3k fog bixenon hids, so basically u get 3k hid highbeam as well. i also have a brand new set of genuine phillips ultinon 6000k hid bulbs for the headlights.
- rear window spoiler, trunk lip spoiler both factory color matched.
- Usa-spec pa-15 infi ipod adapter for the stock bose system.
- Weathertech window deflectors.

car currently has 64k miles. i bought it last year. i am the second owner. Car was bought from infiniti of massapequa in long island, ny.
