hahahha. i knew this was going to be a fail thread. i just wanted to post something haha...

and its getting painted gloss black. i sanded and prepped it all this morning and my painted took over and was spraying the primer when i was leaving the shop and ill pick it up in the morning

Why was he spraying primer? If there was nothing wrong with the roof then thats a step not needed. Are you talking bout sealer? Mines gloss black, oh wait my whole car is ob. lol

the clear coat failed really really bad which then led to the base coat that was originally painted on there to fail. so i took it all the way down

Gotcha. Hope you pulled the drip rail moldings and the front windshield molding . It leaves a cleaner line for paint

yup, and opened the sunroof and taped the hole up

the price i am paying is probably not anywhere near what it would normally cost to get a roof painted because i am doing pretty much everything except for spraying. its my friend who is doing the spraying so i dont really have to pay for much.
