I am attempting to order a center dash piece with one din opening from nissan of japan so I can install my alpine unit in my sedan. I hope this works out. I'll keep you guys post it. I'm so excited.

please do. I didn't know that there was such a center console piece. I have some high-end stereo equipment (MB Quart Q series comps and coaxials, JL Audio 450/4 and JL 500/1, JL Audio 12W7 in custom sealed box) installed in my G and the HU is the weakest link by far.

I don't have the nav so what I was thinking is drilling an opening inside the center cubby and trying to put in an Alpine HU in there.

 

With the heating/air conditioning and radio controls as a single assembly, have you figured out how you are going to make this work?

 

How is your stillen intake doing? Notice any gains? I just ordered mine last week.

I was quoted around $250 shipped, so I'm pretty sure that includes the hvac control unit. (it said it includes control assys) The base model in japan does not come with the bose system; therefore, I'm assuming I can get the hvac off from a base model.
