Headlight Issue

Hey guys, I just had a quick question that I couldn't find from searching (could be my poor searching skills).

My passenger side headlight's top bulb seems to be out. I know to get to the assembly, I need to remove the wheel and the wheel well, but what bulb do I need? Also, is it pretty easy to do?

I have a 2004 Infiniti btw.

Thanks.

2004 was all Hid I believe?

In that case, you need a "D2R" bulb

Ddmtuning.com has them for $15 a pair.

Had a set in my car for a year...so far so good.

These are the bulbs from D2R correct? Sadly, I am not at my residence and won't be for a while so I will have to take it to a repair place to put them in for me.

Yup D2r and 4500K will get you pretty close to stock.
For $15 a pair I guess it doesn't matter if its 4300 or 4500K

Just to make sure, when you can check and see what it says on your headlights.

You're looking for something that says "Dot D2r, H2B" or the likes.

Its printed on the headlamps.
That'll let you know for sure that bulbs you need.

I believed the brand is the Phillips bulb brand..and as far as replacing the bulb, you can actually just jack the entire front car up, and you can access the compartment to make that bulb replacement without having to take your front wheel off. That's what I did on both of my bulbs.

Well when you jack the entire front car up from the ground, the weight from the spring n tire will drop, which will allow you to reach in on top over the wheel in order to access the headlight compartment.
