I just debadged my sedan and found two pinholes for the Infiniti emblem. How do you debadgers deal with that? and could you explain it in total noob terms. Thx

you can put a sticker on it, and weld the holes and repaint trunk, or you can get a aftermarket trunk

I had mine filled in and the trunk repainted by a body shop. I also had them mold a lip spoiler into the trunk since they were doing the other work.

+1 to all this. A temporary fix could also be color-matched plugs. If not, then put the badge back on and make sure you reseal it completely

Another option is to break the two alignment pins off the badge, then use the top part of it to cover the holes, thus lowering the badge by about an inch.
That makes it look more centered and balanced.

I was thinking about just shooting a bead of silicone and smoothing it with my finger. I dont know lol
seems like your looking for the simple/cheap fix.
put the emblem back or put a sticker over it.
you really dont want to spend the $$$ to get it properly filled and touched up.

Yea I probably saved a few hundred bucks my way. And it looks good you can't even find em unless you go up close. Used the factory paint too

post up some pics. Trying to figure out what to do with mine, but I don't want shop repainting entire trunk for two holes.

I just took off the "INFINITI G35", and just left the symbol there. Like the other posters said, maybe put back that symbol.

^word. Unless you do it right, you will always be able to see how you rigged the holes. If your cool with that then more power to you but I think it looks better to just leave Mt. Fuji on than have 2 f*kd up spots in your paint :shrugs:

Few things look worse than half-assed.
