Lithium grease will corrode rubber/plastic and should not be sprayed on any rubber/plastic parts. It's petroleum based as are those parts. Like dissolves like. Use silicone instead.

hi guys
I have an 04 sport coupe and it has the same problem but it happens in the front passenger side. It makes that squeaking noise when goes over bump or even sewer cap. It even pulls slightly to the right. Should I drop the car at dealer for diagnosis? or buy the Whiteline bushing and replace them? Is it potentially the front shock set? Will the alignment help? I'm a noob so any help is greatly appreciated.

Put it up on a set of ramps and take a look at your suspension bushings. If you're bushings are worn, getting it aligned may/may not work.

Miles? The front-end OEM bushings are pretty weak. I replaced my transverse link bushings (this is the lower suspension arm that is straight, closest to the front bumper) with whiteline components. My compression rods just got new OEM bushings.

Know that the OEM compression rod bushings are really an unsaid wear item. Typical cars would go 100-130k before bushing replacement, but the G/Z really should have this bushing replaced every 30-50k if using OEM bushings.

If you are considering replacing your bushings look into Whiteline, Energy suspension, or SPL. SPL are soild, but the Whiteline and ES are polyurethane and will give near OEM ride quality and will most likely outlive the rest of the car. Whiteline bushing have a durmoeter (stiffness) just above rubber, so they proved the best ride but improved durability compared to OEM.

The G has 63k miles and the noise only comes from the front passenger side. Is this a typical spot for the G? I just ordered a set of Energy bushing from one of our vendors. Thanks for the info AuAltima3.5

I guarantee you the car has worn out bushing. I went to get my aligned when i picked it up and the front passenger side has -1.3* camber and was pulling slightly to the right. The car is at the dealership getting some warranty work done and they were nice enough to let me know my bushings were worn and for $600 they would no longer be worn + Alignment. Welllllll.....you can buy the parts for like $200 and have a shop press it in or if you have some awesome forum members around they could give you a hand.
