Unhappy squeeking and creakiing

Have squeeking creaking and bird like chirps coming from car when hitting even the slightest road imperfections. Have heard many reasons two prominent ones being that i need to replace the front lower control arms (apparently there was actually a defect or some issue with the origionals)and also replace bushings (gee all of them?)... I guess I should expect this driving on upstate NY roads. Need to get these parts maintenanced, any one had either of these parts replace and what was job cost? Also what other parts should I consider when trying to eliminate the above issues? Please help my cars gone all geriatric on me.

+1 on the bushings. Someone here or in the SoCal regional forum may be able to point you in the right direction for an install vs the dealer wanting $$$.

I'm not familiar with the control arm issue.

u dont need to replace the complete control arm.. you can buy the bushing and have them compressed in.

white line 55$ is better then oem .. they firm and last longer

that will take away the squeaking noise in the front..

Sounds like the bushings to me. I need to replcace mine also, if I did not have a factory warranty left I would prob opt for an aftermarket setup such as White line.

Sounds like u might have a bird trapped under you car! Check for loose feathers on your driveway before you buy any parts.

Same issue on my car but mine came after putting 20's on mine. Went back to oem and the noise was gone. Then went to 19's and the noise came back but slightly quieter. I've read that spraying the bushings with lithium might help the creacking but not the fact that they might need replacing. Anyone else heard of this??

Which bushings are you talking about? compression rod?

Mine took a dump and I had the SPC solid ones installed, and I also have that stupid bird chirp sound.

also today got a new creaking sounds when on the brakes from 5 to 0 mph.

Thanks PK, even though hes banned, I didnt have to start a new thread.

Compression rods.
theyre garbage and they crack over time. If u have warranty its a known issue, they'll replace for free.
Gnite.
