Question about limp mode....

Has anyone actually got that sensor fixed?
it happened to me for the second time and i went to nissan to see what it would cost for me to get it taken care of. they said the sensor costs $180+ and the labor is $195. this seems ridiculous to me but is this right?
also...i asked them how much a z-tube would be if i ordered it through their parts department and they said $155+.

Not sure about the sensor, but the z tube is around $50 used.

Exactly what sensor are you talking about? Don't buy anything new from the dealer. They want over $1000 each for the coupe 19's new. What a joke.

the sensor for the accelerator pedal. when they ran my code they saw that the gas pedal sensor was faulty and thats what caused my car to go into "limp mode"
ok i wont buy anything from them. thanks for the heads up. is everythingg35 pretty good to buy stuff from? or are there other websities that are cheaper?

There is a pill for that, I think it is called Viagra. It will help with limp mode.

Thanks for all your help.

Just found out that my extended warranty covers this whole thing so now there is no worry on how much it costs.
