I'm having they weird problem. Until now it's been too cold to take the door panel out but i'm wondering if any of you guys encountered this problem. If i need to get part before working on the car i'd rather have them handy.

So a couple of month ago I started having door problems. At first they door wouldn't shut close. it would just bounce back when i tried to close it. It was pretty cold out of i figured it was because of that or because of an ajustment. The second time i tried shutting it it would just close correctly.

I got the other door replaced on warranty and asked the body shop to adjust the door. Still the problem porgressed to not closing even when it was in a heated garage and it was starting to be more frequent. Until eventually the only way i could close it was to power lock THEN shut the door. This is also when i realized the manual lock/unlock thing wouldn't work anymore. The thing works and moves when i used the power but manually by hand i cant mvoe it! it's just too hard and i'm affraid of breaking it.

Now a new thing is happening. On top of not closing when unlocked, it wont open! When i try opening (from inside AND ouside) it opens slightly (as if the door in not closed correctly) but it wont open all the way. I need to play with the power lock (lock/unlock/unlock/lock/unlock) in order to come out on my car. Same trying to go in the car. When playing with the power lock i car here the mechanism working at fir then a "forcing" sound.

It's nicer out so i will def try to take the door panel off this weekend. I really hope it's not rainign this weekend so that i can get this issue resolved.

 

anyone has a video of how to take the panel off?

 

Bump? Going to work on it today... Someone must have some suggestion or help no? I still can't find a detailed diagram for the door panel removal.
