thoughts on aftermarket hood for full show no go
for you guys/gals that are going in the show not go route with your cars, what is your opinion on an aftermarket hood? for instance the strafe hood with the vents in it. i love the look of the hood but i feel as being that i always have my hood open at shows to show off my bling that the hood would not even be noticed. what is your opinion
My car isn't full show, but I'll chime in anyways. My opinion on the Strafe hood is that it looks awesome. Its based on the best looking Coupe hood IMO, Top Secret. To pull it off though you have to have quite a bit of exterior mods other wise it will look out of place IMO.
To your point about the hood being open at shows, you will still definitely notice it. Additionally when you have it down hopefully some of your bling will be visible when you aren't running the rain guards.

I'm not a big fan of the lines on the strafe hood.
The angle of the vents doesn't really match anything else on the car.
It can look good, but you have to have a pretty wild setup to pull it off (see SDGenius)

well it doesnt NEED to be the strafe hood. i was mainly using that one as an example.
marcus your car to me is considered a full show. i dont mean full show as not daily drivin and a trailer queen, but you also dont have a 600 horse power motor and race it at the track. not yet atleast haha
and as far as "To pull it off though you have to have quite a bit of exterior mods other wise it will look out of place IMO" what would you consider quite a bit of exterior mods?

I would consider quite a bit of exterior mods as at least a full exterior body kit (front, sides, rear, trunk), other stuff as well should already be done too like wheels, BBK, etc. I personally think it fits an aggressive theme like Mark's better than say a cleaner them like mine.
