Get an 07/08 sedan, they've got better engines and look the best IMO.

4) Generally ignored by the police
5) It is lighter than the coupes
6) The 6MT's have rev-up motors for 05-06

5) and 6) combined make a 6mt sedan the fastest of the first generation stock G35's. For me the appeal is knowing I have a rwd 300hp sedan that no one expects. I get a big kick out of it. It'll be an srt4 or a civic si that will try and blast past me after taking off at a light because I shift really early, nothing like waiting until they're right at your door and rolling to WOT. Most of the time they look over with a scowl at the old man's sedan.

That and blipping down to second and putting your foot down, you're gone before anyone notices.

The coupe does this too, but it's a coupe, it isn't really a surprise when it happens.
When the young kid in what looks like his dad's car suddenly goes from the speed limit to 100+....like I said before, it's my favorite part about having a sedan: A sleeper, but definitely not sleepy.
Think thats fun, try it with an 07+ 6mt sedan.... with this car you can surprise older Vettes, 911s, and the best of the current german sports sedans.

So, it a completely unrelated side-point, FL tickets sure are expensive these days
coupes dont get pulled over . . . but when they do - I HEAR, in AL that 5 or 6 begins to expensive, but thats just heresy!!!!

the rev-ups are a major concern. i def will not be getting a rev up 6mt. thats just asking for problems.

Thanks to everyone for your input and feedback. the search begins for that ideally perfect sedan!!

ok so i found an 06 diamond graphite on black w/ rays 19s 6mt. 49,206. asking $15,900. i would like a 6mt but the rev up engine is a red flag. thoughts - suggestions?? should be able to talk em down to 13.9 -14.5.

IP, DG or TB are my colors. everything but the revup on this is all go.

Too bad you weren't looking on here a couple of weeks ago, you could have had this for under $12,000. https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-car...edan-navi.html One of the cleanest sedans I have seen on Driver.
