Missing Bolt? Is this Normal?

I recently had my oil changed and decided to do a few DIY maintenance tasks on my day off. I decided to change my cabin and engine air filters. Having gone to the auto parts store, purchased said pieces began the work. After changing the engine air filter, I noticed a threaded hole where a bolt would be fitted. Could my auto shop missed a bolt?

thanks

Its normal you aren't missing a bolt. I've swapped 175+ bolts out in my engine bay for SS polished or chrome OEM bolts but I found a photo of when I first started working on my engine bay. I had the same threaded hole.

The G used to be my daily driver, I now drive it on average 3 days a week. I do not trailer it to shows, haha.

This is how it looks now pretty much minus a few polished things I've added since this photo was taken.

That extra thread hole looks like it could just be another grounding point on the engine.

It looks like a bolt there would be meaningless. If anything it almost looks like a small part would be attached there, but I doubt it.
