So, realized that I created an account here back in '05 - I can't remember the reason why, but maybe it was foreshadowing? Anyways, just picked up an '06 G35x in liquid platinum metallic. Coming from the Audi world, had an '04 A4 prior to this which I traded in because it was giving me toooooo much problems. Anyways, I was originally looking at 335xi's, but then student loans kicked me in the *** and told me to be more rationale with my next car purchase. So...here I am. Oh btw, this is not my first VQ motor, I owned an '03 350z when they first came out.

Funny you traded from an Audi because of the maintenance... There was recently a thread where a guy was moving from a G to an Audi and refused to hear any warnings about maintenance

I have a funny story as well. I went from an 04 G35 sedan 6MT to an 04 Audi S4 and then back to an 03 G35 sedan 6MT. I bought the G35 because it was too good of a deal to pass up and as much as I loved driving the Audi, the maintenance and the fuel economy was not worth it.
