AC Clutch Disc Fell Off

Hi all, My AC stopped working the other day and I started looking into the cause and I found the clutch disc laying in the belly pan. What I didn't find was the bolt that failed to hold the clutch disc in place. Does anyone happen to know what size the bolt should be. I have tried M6x1.0, M5x0.8, #10-32, and 1/4"-28. The M5x0.8 seemed to have the right pitch but it is either the wrong diameter or it is stripped out. I'm trying to fix this problem without removing the compressor but if it is stripped out I guess I'm going to get to replace it. Any insight? Thanks

Not sure what the size is, but this is the 2nd time I've heard of this happening.

The same thing happend to me. I found mine when I was doing an oil change. Have you tried the dealer? It will cost more, but at least you will get the right one and be done with it.

I know this is a really old thread, but i wanted to inform those who may be facing similar issues. I had the same issue with the bolt falling out, and the thread you want to get is M6... I am not sure what length was the original bolt. However, I did use M6x18mm and its working well blowing cold air.
