Well i've had my g35 for a short while and im in love with it, but here's the thing the car note i have to pay off is only like 8k. I'll be done with that probably within the year or two. I'm going to make all the repairs and keep the car, but im going to get a new car loan because im using this first car to build up my credit.

I'm hoping to upgrade to a Pre-owned 07-08 g35x sedan.... i seen a few that has decent milage, like 50-70k. With a decent car loan of 20k$ i can get one simple

but My mother in her optimistic naivat'e, chimes in why dont you just buy a new one??? WTF!?

With my low credit, how could i ever pay for a 30k+ infiniti out the gate???

She's screaming at me to buy a new one and im looking at her like she's a damn idiot!!!

The merits of a pre-owned infiniti, she cannot grasp. am i crazy or is she. what are the odds of me getting a brand new car???

"Depreciation" Now that's out of the way. Used is the way to go, let someone else take the hit on 7 to 10k the 1st year. That's a big down payment to stay in the black.......

your mom has her opinions, having a new car and such will save you with sudden maintenance if that happens, not saying it will..

and people are different. some prefer new cars, some like me doesnt care and always buy a CPO..
