Wow I just read the title and didnt even need to look through all the posts to know that you sir are an *******, wait until you loose your mother and come back here and brag about how "stupid" she is some more. I swear little kids nowadays have taken everything for granted.

If your mom's opinion matters so much on the decision, why are you calling her an idiot? Just because you may not agree doesn't make her wrong.
But to answer your question, both decision sound terrible. If you can't pay off an 8k bank loan on the spot, how are you hoping to pay off a 20k+ loan? A lesson you seem to have yet to learn is that debt is a b*tch.
