ART pipes have arrived

I would have liked to get the bolt trimmed too, but they were insisting it wasn't that. The fact the resonator was touching the transmission pan seemed like that would be more of a problem for noise than the bolt. However when revved up on the lift I didn't hear any noise from vibrations. It was purely from the merge point in the Y-pipe.
I'm not sure if when actually driving the transmission would shift more to cause more vibrations... It definitely seems louder when driving than up on the lift though.

OK, here's a short vid I made. It actually doesn't sound that bad in the video lol. Sounds more raspy in person. You can hear the "bees in a can" sound as the RPM's drop after revving.
I need to take a vid of a drive-by so you can better get a feel for the sound. It's much more pronounced and louder when driving. I'll try to do that tomorrow.
Anyways, here goes:

doesnt sound really raspy in the video, that hiss sound does go away after some miles are put on the car, my setup was REALLY raspy i had a video i was gonna put up but i decided not too. if you get a chance to make a video while driving(have someone else hold the camera) you might be able to get it in the video, but i didnt hear much rasp. mine was way worse than that, i promise

I take it these aren't the second gen ART pipes then. Tony at MD said the 5AT fitment issue has been addressed with the new pipes. The exhaust does move around quite a bit under load. Even though the tranny and motor/headers are directly connected, the length of the exhaust can get tugged around a bit. The headers aren't going to move, but there is the possibility of the ART pipes getting very slightly moved. You also have to factor in pipe expansion under heat. If there isn't at least a 1/4" clearance between the ART resonator and tranny, then it's possible to get an exhaust rattle under heavy loads and/or turning.
With that said, the sound I hear in the video not an exhaust rattle. It's definitely just an exhaust gas noise. I've heard the same "shhhhh" noise on Berk HFCs. Lots of strange noises come through when you remove cats, resonators, add bigger piping, etc. You also might want to consider adding a cat in the midpipe. It will definitely reduce rasp and odd noises. It won't suck out much HP either (2-3hp).

These are the V1 ART pipes. I got them like 2 days before he announced V2
The noise is this video seems different from the one I hear under driving. In this you hear it under deceleration, when driving it's under acceleration and much louder/more annoying. Do you think the exhaust would shift more under driving conditions than when parked? I still have a feeling it's rattling on the transmission pan. There's no clearance at all (at least when the exhaust is hot). Up on the lift it was directly touching it.

Here's a clip of me driving. You can hear it a lot better in this video. Sounds like a friggin Honda. It buzzes when I accelerate from the turn, and then you can hear it again when the gear changes.

YEAH BUDDY!!!!!! what you have there is some bad rasp, had the same issue with full motordyne setup, sounds identical to yours, slapped a resonator on the xyz and its gone.(thanks again to tony and his knowledge)
i know i have whored this vid out a few times but heres what mine sounds like with the resonator attached, zero rasp inside and out

If it's just rasp I can live with that. I planned on making a whole custom exhaust from the start, I just wanted to throw these ART pipes on the stock first to see how it sounds. Everything should sound sick once I get the custom exhaust done. Currently I'm waiting on the straight pipe, have everything else. The local place around here is out of straight pipe currently so I'm waiting for them to restock.
As long as it's not caused by rattling then everything is good
