so im purchasing a 2005 infiniti g35 sedan, ive never owned an infiniti ever, but the fist time i test drove the g35 i fell in love. are there any things i should watch out for as far as electrical or mechanical, granted the car only has 45K but my original car never had so many electrical switches to it. also around how much average does it cost to get a lowered. thanks

new, aftermarket springs will run you about 200 to 300. i forget how much people charge for installs these days.

if you want to drop lower than 2 inches, and you want to save your oem struts, go coilovers. they will run anywhere from 800ish to 3000.

the things to watch out for

is for bushings - they tend to wear out fast
idk for you if gas means allot to u - ( g35 is not a gas saver)
to drop -

coils would be the best to go,,, a bit price but well worth it ,,

but then if you drop a certain amount u gottta go with cambers, and toes

another thing to watch out for is,, drive the speed limit lol
once u get behind the wheel for the first few times of a G u gonna wanna race everyone and drive fast everywhere lol

welcome

I can't imagine much going wrong at 45k miles. Down the road if you start to hear some clunking from under your car, that most likely means your compression rod bushings have gone out. That's pretty common. Otherwise some people have their headunits go out, but this problem is very hit and miss. I'm rolling around at 101k and my headunit is fine. Just make sure you do proper maintenance and change out the right fluids at the right times and you shouldn't have any issues with this car.
