Creaking front drivers door
Creaking front drivers door
Hi all. I have a '03 with about 26k miles. I've been noticing a 'creaking' noise coming from the driver's side door only when turning and going over an incline. Hmm, this is hard to explain. Say I'm turning onto a driveway, and there is a slight incline onto that driveway, that's when the creak becomes apparent. I've taken it to the dealership twice, and the second time they said a TSB was performed- but the noise is still there. Anyone else experiencing this? How can I get it fixed??
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'm not familiar with the G35 but other cars that I've owned has this issue too. Often I found that it was the rubber door gaskets squeaking when the body flexed.
You can get a silicone lubricant that is made for rubber seals. I believe there is a TSB on the G35 and it even specifies a certain type of 3M silicone lubricant. You might try doing it yourself.

Yes, that's pretty common, especially when it gets colder, I think every car I have ever had needed this from time to time.

I have the same problem with my 04. I brought my car to the dealer but of course they could not locate the noise. It sounds like it is coming from the suspension. It really is annoying. Funny thing is when I had the loaner car it did the exact same thing.
