Engine idler pulleys becoming grooved

About to change out my belt @83k miles. Just did a quick visual before doing the job this weekend and noticed my idler pulleys seem grooved. They aren't sharp grooves, but it's definitely uneven and not a smooth square pulley surface like usually seen.

I'm thinking I'll hold off on the belts and look into replacing the pulleys at the same time. From what I can see, 2 are like this....just the idlers.

No belt issues or noise...just replacing as routine maintenance

Anyone Ever see this before?

EDIT: grooved is an extreme description. Let's call it "rippled" with a slightly uneven surface.

Well, did some investigating today. Pulleys weren't really grooved. You could feel some unevenness, but nothing critical.

Got the belts off and it appeared they were slipping slightly causing wear marks on the pulleys. Guess 82k will do that. Replaced them, tightened them up and my engine is probably the most quiet it has even been...even with ac on.

My ac belt was cracked to hell with sections gone...ashamed at myself for letting it go but since it was winter, I figured losing the ac belt wouldn't really be much of an issue.
