Black 2005 G35 6MT Rev-Up Sedan (had severe oil consumption)

Bought car in June of 2016 with 115k miles, 2nd owner.
Now almost June of 2024, 8 years later, now at 142k miles. Have had severe oil consumption, 1 quart every ~200 miles then over time it got worse to 1 quart every ~100 miles. Used 5w30 synthetic blend Valvoline. Oil spray all over driver side engine bay by intake from blown out valve cover gaskets and dipstick from excessive crankcase pressure, oil fill cap would pop off while driving, and smell of burning oil in car when revving over 4k rpm, recently found the PCV valve wasn't working properly being gummed up and sticking, not freely moving, replaced it and changed oil from 5w30 to 10w40 Castrol GTX, now engine runs smoother than ever, totally quiet no noises and seems to run stronger and no smell of burnt oil at high rpms. The severe OC had also oil fouled out my NGK iridium spark plugs after 26,000 miles of driving to the point the car was undrivable, flashing check engine light with multiple codes. Now with new NGK plugs, pcv and 10w40, it's barely consuming oil like it was, no more high crankcase pressure oil spray or new leaks detected and probably minimized the blow-by on the piston rings. Original clutch feels tight like new. No grinds or slips. This has been the most reliable, least expensive vehicle I've ever owned in the past 30 years. Besides gas/oil, have not spent over $1000 into the car over the past 8 years (usual wear and tear tires, brake pads, wipers, bulbs, etc) The only mechanical issues was a brake caliper seized up right after I bought it and the passenger crankshaft position sensor failing about 5 years ago.

Mileage

I posted here long ago, but I still have my '03 G35 that I bought in November 2002. Currently at 112,800 miles.

I've got a suspension issue that I'll go looking for an answer to, but if we have any suspension experts, please feel free to DM me.

Thanks folks

G35 2004 currently has 201k mileage.

Trying to push it and see how long it can survive 😀
