Trunk lock wiring question
The wring to the trunk lock consists of 2 sets of wires, a black one which carries 12-13V (this one moves the solenoid I guess) and a small white one.
I have full voltage and current on the black one, but can't read any on the white one. What does the white wiring do? Any ideas/thots would be most appreciated. Lock no longer works.

Depending on the year of your car there are a few ways to pop the trunk; the switch by the driver's left hand, the key fob, and the external push button near the trunk (intel.key). If none of those are working then check fuses first. If only the driver's switch has stopped check the "trunk lid opener cancel switch" in the glove compartment.
Odd, black wires are usually the ground side of the circuit so I'm not sure what that means...
