springs qustion

I have an 04 sedan with a stock sport suspension. If I swap on springs from an 07 350z will i need to get a camber kit? I already managed to find out it will drop my car about 1 in. which in the dc metro area, is more then enough with our holy roads.

True test is to have your springs installed, wait a week and have your sedan aligned. Ask the tech doing the alignment how far off OE specs you are. If you're off a bunch then plan on buying the complete camber kit or buying new tires once a year....you've got choices.

Gary pretty much summed it up. Each car is different so alignment specs will vary slightly.

You wont "need" one persay, but you may want one. Generally with a 1" drop you can get close enough to manufacture specs. Like most anyone will tell you, negative camber will wear the inside of the tires slightly faster. Thats not a big issue, the big issue is the Toe settings. With the drop that you are after I wouldnt worry about the camber (it will be negative, but still close to OE spec) but focus on making sure the toe settings are within OE spec. Bad Toe settings will chew up tires.
Just for reference. My 05 sedan with 350Z springs and no aftermarket camber correction parts front or rear.
Front camber: 1.5* Left 1.6* Right. OE spec is -.08 to +.7
Rear camber: 1.5* Left 1.6* Right. OE spec is -1.1 to -.1
Toe front and rear was adjusted to well within OE spec
