I'm replacing my tires and wanted to know which of these would fit on my stock 17s?

225 50 17 Goodyear eagle RS-A RSA 93W 70% tread, $40 for both (ecl5),

235 55 17 Pirelli Scorpion str* tread 60% tread, $40 for both (x35)

245 40 17 Michelin pilot sport ps2 91Y 50% tread, $50 for both (clk5)

245 45 17 Kumho ecsta supra 95W 80% tread, $59 for both (e50chrm6)

The stock SHOULD be 235/50/17 and 225/50/17

I want a more fatter tire, and I don't know what XXX/XX/Rim Size means.

Thanks!

So after searching, I have found that 235/50/17 are the best fit closest to OEM.

Or would it matter if I got one of the above mentioned? Thank you.

Are your 17's 6-spoke or 5-spoke?

I know the 6-spoke are 7" wheels, but I can't remember if the sport pkg 5-spoke wheels are wider or not :/

WTF with all the "Dear" crap?

Yeah, those are 7" wide.

A 215 is stock, 225 will work, not sure about the 235, I think 245 is too wide.

But that is according to tirerack.com dear, thank you for reply.

However, I am like to get 235 people said before, 235/50/17 is the good one for tire for OEM stock rims wheels.

What I meant to say is that the tire size is from tire rack right? I don't think that is right....

So many people said 235/50/17 are perfect sizes for tires but I want to double check.

So which one is best tires for stock?

Thank you for replying G35SedanGrn

thats the stock tire size, 215/55/17 the size my car came with from the dealership. stick to that size if you want different sizes then get different wheels.

Thank you for the reply.

If I get maybe 235, will that make it more smoother ride?
