best setting for sway bars
best setting for sway bars
Hey everyone, I just bought some used Hotchkis front and rear sway bars for my 2003 sedan. When I install these, which setting in terms of stiffness would you recommend?
I have stillen also. Hard front and rear.
Soft front-hard rear= oversteer (my original setup, and would get loose in sweeping/fast turns)
Hard front-soft rear= understeer
It depends on how you want it setup

I drive pretty quickly and like to take turns quite sharply. I just don't want it to become a very uncomfortable ride.

Start with soft and soft, take a nice long drive or leave it on for your normal drive for a week...if you feel it can be stiffer, adjust the settings and take another drive...everyone is different, so you'll have to find the settings YOU like.
Just because someone has it one way, doesn't mean it will fit your driving style.
