Great so the order is in. Thank you everyone.

I expect these will be on toward the end of the year or beginning of next year (waiting for current tires to need replacing).

Other than aspects of lowering/costs, what should I expect as far as problems, feel, appeal/appearance from the following tire options?

Option 1:
Front: 245/35/19x8.5
Rear: 275/35/19x10

Option 2:
Front: 235/40/19x8.5
Rear: 265/35/19x10

I've already done some research but would like to hear your opinions as well i.e. I know that ignoring rim width, 265/35 is closer to my OEM tire+width diameter than the 275/35 size.

Thanks,
Rajen

Why not 245/40 in the front with 275/35 rear? The diameters are closer.

I realize it is closer to the diameter of the rear wheel, but it would actually be close to 3.5mm larger than the rear wheel with 275/35 ignoring wheel diameters. A larger front wheel aesthetically "bothers" me a bit lol. The rear wheel matters to me the most since it would more closely affect the speedo accuracy.

option 3:

front: 255/35
rear: 275/35
Not a bad option--I will keep it in mind. I would like the tire walls to be mildly stretched hence my consideration for option 2...depending how low I decide to drop the car (undecided). would 275/35 & 245/35 be slightly stretched or perfectly flush as well?

(Unfortunately, I can't see images from certain URL's from my current location).

Okay, so good compromise. After googling images and considering both suggestions for the front:
245/40
255/35

I've decided option 3 (255/35) would be my best bet =). They both bring me close to oem tire diameter, but 255/35 is closer without going over. Also, the wider 255 should diminish chances of oversteer, I assume, with a 275 rear.

Also, I'll be happy with not being "stretched"--I saw the Saab in the link below with 255/35/19x8.5 and was won over! I like the flushness with the little added, maybe negligible, wheel rim "protection".

Front: 19x8.5+32 255/35 (+25 if I go with 7mm spacer)
Rear: 19x10+42 275/35

I would prefer to go True coilover but my main concerns are as follows (trying to be flush with close to OEM camber specs):
1. The G was designed with rear spring buckets; is it safe and structurally capable short and long term to eliminate the spring bucket and put the spring on the rear strut (true coilover)? (Yes, I know I will have to use a toe arm).
2. Would there be inner tire/wheel clearance issues i.e. rubbing/scraping against the strut/spring.

I have done hours of searching but have not read/heard anything concrete. I know handling/feel would be slightly different but please avoid digressing from the above questions. I appreciate everyone's input. Thanks.
